Clay Cauldrons

Handmade pottery cauldrons by Riana from Knysna Forest Pottery.

Glazed inside, with a copper handle. 

Each one comes with salt to temper the heat, a coal and some Myrrh resin. 

Cauldrons are deeply entrenched in Celtic folklore and history - from the folkloric story of Cerridwen and her cauldron of wisdom to the myriad of cauldrons found in lakes, that were thrown in as sacrifices to the gods. Cauldrons represent wisdom, the womb, the death and rebirth cycle and the symphony of all the elements. 

Use your cauldron for burning incense and herbs in, as a candle holder, a storage vessel or altar decor.
